Persephone Pants

Anna Allen Clothing'in meşhur Persephone Pants kalıbını uzun zamandır almak istiyordum. Ama kalıbın benim armut vücuduma pek de uygun olmadığını düşündüğümden almaya yeltenmemiştim. Sonradan @fabric_pile da görünce alma isteği tekrar depreşti:)..Gerçi kendisi -0- beden bir insan :) benimle alakası yok, ama olsundu, ne olacaktı en azından deneriz dedim..

Her kalıbı mutlaka eski bir kumaşta deniyorum. Beden tablosuna göre bel 6, kalça 8 görünüyordum bu ölçülerde kestim ama bitirdiğimde pantolonun önü kapanmadı..Ayrıca ağ kısmı da dar geldi. Ağ kısmındandır dedim bu kısmı yükselttim. Ama yine olmadı..

Birkaç blog ve instagram postu okudum..Kalıbın sahibi Anna, bedeni seçerken direkt kalça ölçüsünde seçmeyi ve beldeki fazlalılığı arka penslere ve arka ortaya dağıtmayı önermiş zira pantolonda yan dikiş yok !

Ben de o şekilde yaptım, bel bandını da anform kemere çevirdim ( nasıl yapılacağını sevgili Semiye Bottan sitesinde anlatmış ruhu şad olsun  https://www.semiyebottan.com/yandan-cepli-anform-kemer-pantolon-semiye-bottan.html )düz kemer bende olmayacaktı zaten..Ama kumaş olarak esnek olmayan kumaş önerildiği halde ben gittim esnek kumaş seçtim:) Dolayısıyla belde yine fazlalık oldu..Bu pantolon çok yüksek bel tam anlamıyla bel oyuğunda bitiyor.

Bu nedenle ben de belin yanlarına küçük çocuk pantolonlarındaki gibi lastik koydum:) Bu arada kalıbın esinlenildiği pantolonun orjinali 400 dolara satılıyor..

I’ve just wanted to buy Anna Allen Clothing's famous Persephone Pants for a long time. But I did not attempt to buy the pattern as I thought it was not very suitable for my pear shape body.
But when I saw @fabric_pile ‘s Persephone, I made my decision to buy it.. Although she is a size -0- person, it has nothing to do with me, but I said myself I will at least try ..


I always try each pattern on an old fabric. According to the size chart, my measurements are; for waist is 6 and the hips 8. I cut the fabric of these measurements, but when I finished, the front of the trousers was not closed . In addition, the crotch was also narrow. I raised the crotch but nothing changed ...I am bored frankly ..

I've read a few blogs and instagram posts. Anna, (the owner of the pattern), suggested choosing the size at the size of the hips and distributing the excess on the waist to the back center and darts as the pants don't have side seams!




I did it that way, I turned the waistband to a curve waistband, I wouldn't have a Straight Waistband anyway. But even though the fabric was recommended as a non-stretchy fabric, I went and chose a stretchy fabric. For this reason, I had to put elastics on the sides of the waistband, like in the little children's trousers :) For the zipper fly front i followed the Megan Nielsen's MNDawn sewalong.
